All three series of the highly acclaimed ITV drama 'Broadchurch' were filmed in West Bay.

The series starred David Tennant, Oscar-winning actress Olivia Colman and Jodie Whittaker.

The building next door to the apartments was used as the 'police station' and the cast and crew mingled with the locals in-between takes.
Charlotte Rampling can be seen in the photos above,  in a break from filming Broadchurch season two, at Margaret's ice cream kiosk less than 20 feet from our front doors!

Harbour Lights

Harbour Lights was a TV drama set in the fictitious seaside and harbour town of Bridehaven and filmed mainly in West Bay. It consisted of two series, the first of ten episodes and the second of six episodes. Nick Berry played Mike Nicholls, the Harbour Master, and the series also starred Tina Hobley.

The Rise and Fall of Reggie Perrin

The 1970s classic tv series starring Leonard Rossiter, filmed it’s famous opening sequence at West Bay. Reggie's faked suicide, which formed part of the title sequence was filmed on the beach with the East Cliff visible in the very opening shot.

The Navy Lark
